69th bad drawing: Penny Arcade by Mike Krahulik & Jerry Holkins
I've been reading this webcomic for well over a decade now. It's been a great ride. They still tell great jokes and I've watched Mike become an incredible artist over the years.
I've taken a temporary break from drawing. My company has a lot of projects that need to be completed and I'm moving to a different city. But I'll be back as soon as I can.
I was using a different brush to trace these and had a good time varying the width of the brush as I worked. Varying the width of lines seems to be a great way to add flavor and variety to a drawing. I also went around the edge with a thick line because some of my favorite drawings have that feature and I think it looks great!

I used this website to display some poses and did two or five minute drawings of the pose (okay, so I may have cheated a bit by giving myself some more time on a few of the more detailed sketches).
I try to source my work. I found this image on a... tumblr site if I recall correctly. I tracked down the original artist's deviant art page, but the artist is migrating to a different page (whatever that means). At least I tried right. Anyway, I've posted the original below for comparison.
